3.2 Transferring a domain from your current Provider to Aruba-REG

To transfer a domain from another provider to Aruba, you need to go to the dedicated area on the Aruba Hosting site and enter your full domain name including the extension in the "Transfer" field.

Please find below details of what to do, depending on the extension of the domain you want to transfer:

Domains with .it or geographical extensions Refer to the relevant guide.
Domains with .eu extensions Refer to the relevant guide.
Domains with .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .cc, or .us extensions Refer to the relevant guide.
Domains with .gov.it extensions Refer to the relevant guide.
Domains with altre estensioni (ex: .es, .de, .co.uk, new gTLD etc) Refer to the relevant guide.
Transfer involves disabling the email accounts linked to the domain and taking down the website. While the procedure is underway, use alternative email accounts for your communications. Once the domain has been activated, recreate the email accounts and publish the website again. If you select the preconfigure your services option, you can limit the downtime of the services, but if the old Provider removes the DNS before publication is complete, the site will no longer be visible.
Domains with .com, .org, .biz, .net, .info, .co.uk, .org.uk, new gTLD extensions (New band A/B/C/D/E/F extensions). For domains with the extensions listed above, after the transfer, you must confirm your own contact details, by replying, within 15 days of receipt, to the contact details confirmation email, sent to the address provided in the "owner details". Failing this, the domain will be suspended and will not be visible or editable (for details, see "Confirm registrant's (owner) Details for a domain".
